The No Peek 21 reader is a highly visible light indicating device. Only, it doesn’t merely notify the dealer of “21” but the player and of course, the “eye-in-the-sky” is aware as well. So, everyone knows the hand at the same time making a great conversational piece and causing the game to be friendlier and more vibrant. The blackjack dealer peek hole card reader is easy to use and install. It’s currently in use in over 150 casino establishments, both in the USA and overseas.

The basic purpose of the blackjack dealer peek is to enable the dealer to determine whether or not the value of his first two cards is a blackjack without having to bend and look at his hole card. This eliminates the need for the dealer to know the exact value of his cards until it is time for the dealer to turn his hand over. Thus, the hole card reader is primarily a security device, designed to lessen the probability that a dealer could either be in collusion with an agent at the table or inadvertently give away information about his hand to the players.

The No Peek 21 reader is a patented electronic device. Its power source is a DC rechargeable battery or standard AC power. The device draws current only when the cards are inserted in it activating the sensor switch. This results in the typical battery life being three to four years before any recharging is required. Recharging of the battery takes three to four hours.
